Noted for its dramatic roller coaster sequence, and catalogued by the British Film Institute as an iconic memoir of the 1980s, this 35mm TECHNOVISION/Dolby Stereo production is considered to be a forerunner of the Music Video.
“Four punk lads making a sortie into an amusement park where they antagonise customers and come upon a group of teenage girls. They are consistently thwarted by the apparition of the 'Knights Electric' who ultimately squire the girls away. Told with a remarkable fluency and gusto.” BFI Newsletter, August 1981
The ever-popular soundtrack includes pieces by Blondie, John Foxx, Madness, The Pretenders, The Ruts and many more.
