Apollo Investigation

We are regularly asked the same or similar questions here we address those most frequently asked.

Q: Do you claim that there should be stars in the Apollo photos?

A: No, we do not claim that there should be stars in the Apollo photographs.

But we do ask why the Apollo astronauts sais they don't remember seeing any stars, and never took any time exposure pictures of the stars as seen from the lunar surface. Imagine how wonderful it would be to have a photograph or two of the canopy of stars and galaxies as seen from the Moon.

However, according to the first man on the Moon:

"The sky is deep black when viewed from the Moon, as it is when viewed from the space between the Earth and the Moon. The Earth is the only visible object other than the Sun that can be seen from the surface of the Moon."

Neil Armstrong, 18 November 1970
